Avant Foundation Grants now open!
Is your organisation seeking funding to lead positive improvements in Australian healthcare?
Professor Steve Robson, Chief Medical Officer of Avant has advised that the Avant Foundation is now accepting expressions of interest for two major grant programs designed to support initiatives that advance quality, safety, and sustainability in medicine: our flagship Transformation Grant and our Research Grants.

Women’s Leadership Scholarships and 2026 Award Nominations now open!
Our friends at Women & Leadership Australia have advised us that their annual scholarships and awards are now open – is this something which would be of benefit to you or a colleague?
1. Health Women’s Leadership Scholarships – final scholarship opportunity for 2025!
Partial scholarships valued at $700 – $3,000 are available to support participation in one of four leadership and workplace skill development programs.
These programs are designed for women at different stages of their careers who are looking to strengthen their leadership capability.

2. 2026 Awards for Excellence in Women’s Leadership
Nominations are now open for the 2026 Awards for Excellence in Women’s Leadership.
The Awards are an excellent opportunity to shine a spotlight on a woman or gender-diverse person in your industry who is creating meaningful change for women, girls, and underrepresented groups.
