Holckner Family CF Impact Grant
In 2022 Cure4CF will provide up to $500,000 to advance medical innovations in cystic fibrosis. We prioritise research with a clear translational path that seeks to develop therapies or cures that will result in an increase in average life expectancy of people with cystic fibrosis with consideration given to quality of life.

PhD Scholarships
- A PhD scholarship is available for a creative and innovative student to investigate immune mechanisms involved in transplant tolerance and rejection, and how it relates to levels of immunosuppression in transplant recipients treated with standard immunosuppressive drugs. The successful PhD candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers from Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI), Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) and Newcastle Transplant Unit (NTU).

- 2A PhD scholarship available for a student to conduct a project investigating the gut-lung axis in respiratory disease. The project will be based in Newcastle, NSW under the primary supervision of Prof Lisa Wood and would suit a student with either a clinical or lab-based background.
