ASMR NSW Gala Dinner
Please join the ASMR Committee at the NSW Gala Dinner in Sydney for a convivial evening celebrating the achievements of NSW’s health and medical researchers at the 2026 ASMR Medical Research Week® Gala Dinner (held on either 27 or 28 October 2026, venue TBC).
The Gala Dinner is a formal dinner uniting esteemed researchers, students, industry professionals, politicians and our ASMR Medallist. Prize recipients at the NSW and Hunter scientific meeting will also be recognised at the Gala Dinner.
As well as celebrating the best and brightest researchers in our state, the dinner will feature the 2026 ASMR Medallist, Professor Fabienne Mackay. Professor Mckay is a pioneering immunology researcher and an exceptional leader in Australian health and medical research.
An exceptional orator, Professor Mackay brings a warmth and charm to her presentations and demonstrates the very best of Australian science, innovation and leadership.
