ASMR’s new strategic plan has members at its core
ASMR is excited to announce the launch of its Strategic Plan 2024-28, designed to enhance support for early to mid-career researchers (EMCRs) in Australia’s health and medical research sector.
This release of the plan follows a comprehensive strategic review aimed at transforming ASMR’s operations and its role within the health and medical research landscape.
The Strategic Plan 2024-28 has four key priorities:
- Provide a platform for our members to develop across all aspects of career life
- Advocate on behalf of members for a flourishing health and medical research sector
- Engage with the community for sustainable health and medical research outcomes
- Foster a member-centric, pro-active and effective organisation
In response to stakeholder feedback, ASMR will focus on providing more career-focused support, enhancing advocacy efforts, improving communication about its vision and strategy, and increasing engagement with state committees and members.
ASMR members can expect to see immediate changes, including a refreshed brand identity across our communication channels, as well as more frequent updates regarding the implementation of the Strategic Plan and upcoming events.
